New Book Release

Retired Editor-in-Chief Dennis Fowle has officially launched his new book 'So I Started A Newspaper'.

The book tells the fascinating story how the Downs Mail has grown in 12 years to reach more than 88,000 Maidstone and Malling addresses. It also details the big campaigns - Jades Crossing, Core Services at Maidstone Hospital and STOPKIG.

 It is full of photographs and short, often humorous stories which add so much to the exciting life of a newspaper office.
