Heart of Kent Hospice Bluebell Walk 2020
The annual Heart of Kent Hospice Bluebell Walk will take place on Sunday 3rd May starting and finishing at Harrietsham Village Hall ME17 1AP. The traditional walk follows a picturesque leisurely 6 mile route taking you amongst the bluebells and through enchanting woodland. This year we are offering an alternative route with a steeper incline on the North Downs Way but the alternative bypasses the stile at Lower Dean Farm which gave rise to congestion last year. You will be able to select which route you follow once under way and will be directed by Marshals. Both routes offer drinks stations, and an opportunity of placing a wind spinner in the Field of Memories . You may also enjoy your picnic with a hot or cold drink at the picnic area near the Field of Memories.
This year we are also offering a shorter 2 and a half mile walk which takes in part of the beautiful Bluebell Walk across the North Downs but does not include the Field of Memories or the Picnic area. Cold drinks will be provided en route. The shorter route does not have any stiles although may be subject ot some rough terrain.
You may start either of the walks between 8 am and 10.30 am. Dogs on leads welcome. Refreshments and our legendary cake stall will be available in the village hall.
