999: Langley burglary suspect detained by police

A suspected burglar has been arrested after Maidstone patrols responded promptly to reports of an intruder in Langley.
At around 4am on Monday 13 June 2022, officers attended Sutton Road where a man had allegedly been seen entering houses under construction.
A methodical search of the area lead to the identification of a suspect near the scene, who was arrested on suspicion of burglary and going equipped to steal.
Officers also seized a headtorch and some pliers and the 24-year-old local man was taken into custody.
