ATTEMPTED MURDER: Man stabbed at house a after four-man break-in

THE hunt is on for a four man gang suspected of attempting to murder a man near Maidstone early this morning.

Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are investigating a report of an attack in Yalding.

Kent Police received a call at around 3.30am on Friday 16 March 2018, that four men had broken into an address in Benover Road and assaulted a man in his 30s before leaving.

Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service went to the scene where the victim was treated for injuries consistent with stab wounds.

He was then taken to a London hospital for further medical attention where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The offenders are described as black and in their 30s.

An unattended silver Mercedes car was later seized by officers in The Tail Race, Tovil Green near Maidstone in connection with the investigation.
