BREAK IN: Vandals target pre-school in Maidstone - can you help?

Thursday 8th July 2021

PRE SCHOOL staff in Penenden Heath say they are angry after vandals broke in and destroyed an outdoor shed.

The storage shed, which had been purchased with fundraising money, was targeted by thugs at Penenden Heath Pre-School last night.

Supervisor Tracey Watson said the intruders completely ripped the wood clean off the shed, but it does not appear they took any items.

Now the charity wants to raise enough money to install security measures such as CCTV and lights.

Secretary Leanne Terry said: “Penenden Heath Pre-School was sadly the victim of a break in which resulted in significant damage to our storage shed which was previously purchased with hard earned fundraising money.

“As a charity, we rely significantly on donations and fundraising events run by our committee. We would be extremely grateful of any donations to help support us.”
