Friday 14th January 2022

MAIDSTONE residents are being encouraged to get jabbed in the coming week at a pop-up vaccination centre on wheels.

Vaccine and boosters will be on offer at the 'walk in' bus clinic set up jointly by the borough council and the NHS.

No appointments will be needed, although gational guidance is for the second dose to be a minimum of eight weeks from the first dose, and boosters three months after the second dose will apply.

Catch the bus at:

Saturday 15 January – Lockmeadow, Barker Road, rear car park -10am – 4pm
Tuesday 18 January – Lockmeadow, Barker Road, rear car park – 10am – 1pm
Tuesday 18 January – MidKent College, Oakwood Park Campus, 2pm – 5pm
Saturday 22 January - Jubilee Square, Maidstone – 10am -4pm

The vaccine programme is widely recognised as the next step to recovery, offering an essential layer to protect yourself and your loved ones and still appears to be the best defence against the virus.
