MAIDSTONE 'STABBING': Police appeal for help in investigation

DETECTIVES have issued an appeal into the alleged stabbing of a man at a children's play area in Maidstone late last night.
Police and ambulance crews went to the scene around 10pm after reports of an injured man in Bicknor Road, near Heather House in Park Wood.
The injured man was flown to a London hospital but was later discharged.
Kent Police arrested 57-year-old local man on suspicion of assault and taken into custody.
Enquiries are underway into the circumstances and investigators are urging witnesses, or anyone with information, to call Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting reference 22-1446.
