The Maidstone club where European Championship medal-winning gymnast James Hall trains has paid tribute to the athlete.

He has been a member of Pegasus Gymnastics Club in Farleigh Hill, Tovil since he was six and the 21-year-old won bronze at the Euros in Romania in the All Around category.

Dave Ansell, Head of Gymnastics For All, said: “James Hall, from Wateringbury, has been training at Pegasus since the age of six with Romanian coaches Ionut Trandaburu and Ovidiu Rugina.

“James is training 25 hours over 6-7 days a week at Pegasus and he travels regularly to Lilleshall for National Camps.

“Pegasus team is very proud of his amazing achievement of European All Around Bronze after so many years of hard work, dedication, and commitment.

“After having been selected as a reserve for the World Championships in Glasgow 2015 now it was finally his time shine at the European Championships in Romania.

“James is extremely pleased with all the support he got from coaches, family, friends and all members at Pegasus and is looking forward to competing in the next events.”
