THEFTS: Police want to reunite owner with stolen bike

Tuesday 1st December 2020

A PHOTGRAPH of a suspected stolen bike has been released following a spate of thefts in Maidstone and Aylesford.

A 22-year-old man and 19-year-old woman, both from Maidstone, have been arrested after a number of cycle thefts.

A 43-year-old man from Snodland was also detained on suspicion of handling stolen property.

All three suspects were later released pending further investigation.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Following the completion of a number of enquiries, officers are now appealing to anybody who believes the cycle in the photograph is theirs, to contact the appeal line.”

Anyone who recognises the bike or has information that may assist the investigation is asked to call Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/117752/20.

You can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or complete the online form.
